The GAFSO Regional Hub for Social Cohesion Initiation [RHSCI] office was launched 2023.10.29 in Sammanthurai, the hub to benefit the multi ethnic communities living in Ampara District and to increase inter-ethnic unity and harmony in the district  

Its main objective is to act as an inclusive peace learning center in the Ampara region.

In this center Ampara district statistical information, general information, regional maps, peace-related works, ancient documents of multi-ethnic communities related to life, traditions, cultural values, peace-related works, unresolved problems between ethnic religions (land and demarcation issues), factors that divide society;, research The Regional Information Center will provide one-stop access to articles, photographs, and books of historical importance, and will host meetings and workshops on these topics.
