09. Objectives

  1. Work closely with the COP unit of the Sammanthurai Police Station to promote community policing practices to deliver better police services.
  2. Generate wider community awareness on community policing and its strategies and practices.
  3. The purpose of this program is to build relationships between the police and the community in the above mention Police Area in order to promote community policing strategies and encourage community and police to develop a partnership for preventing crimes and ensuring safety and security needs are met.
